How each track works

You hear the phrase at natural speed. Pause and say it. Then the same phrase, slower. Say it again. Last, what people may say back to you.

The male voice is you. The female voice is the other person.

〜に いきたいです

~ ni ikitai desu

“I want to go to ~.”

〜ばんせんですか？

~bansen desu ka?

“Platform ~?”

この でんしゃ、〜に いきますか？

kono densha, ~ ni ikimasu ka?

“Does this train go to ~?”

〜に とまりますか？

~ ni tomarimasu ka?

“Does it stop at ~?”

つぎですか？

tsugi desu ka?

“Is it the next stop?”

すみません、おります

sumimasen, orimasu

“Excuse me, I’m getting off.”

とおれません

tooremasen

“It won’t let me through.”

どの でぐちですか？

dono deguchi desu ka?

“Which exit?”
